The Town of Somers Senior Center is open to all residents ages 55+. There is no membership required. All seniors are welcome! It is our goal to create a warm and welcoming environment where seniors feel at home and can take part in social, educational and recreational activities.

DIAL A RIDE:

The Town of Somers offers transportation services to residents 60+ or those who are on Social Security Disability. Our service area includes Somers and Enfield and the hours of availability are Monday thru Friday 8am-4pm.

 We provide transportation to medical appointments, shopping/errands, and other activities. We ask that you call us a minimum of 2 days in advance to book your ride. Please note that there may be times when transportation is unavailable or canceled due to inclement weather. Our transportation service follows the Somers Public Schools closings. Therefore, if schools are delayed or closed, our service will be delayed or closed as well.
