Summer Camps
The Town of Somers, the Recreation Department and the staff of all our summer camps would like to thank you for attending our camps during the summer of 2010. We hope you had fun! You helped to make it one of our most successful and enjoyable seasons ever... we look forward to seeing you again this summer!
Summer Camp 2011 Info:
With the current economy and the high cost of fule, why bring your child to an out of town camp -- we offer one for every interest right here in town. Out day and sports camps are an affordable alternative to day-care and fun for all ages! Registration for ALL camps is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration begins on April 25th. All registrations this season will be accepted prior to the start of each camp week. Please download the appropriate form by clicking on the appropriate camp registration form below. Your registration will be put into our database, but your registration will not be confirmed until we receive payment.
*ABSOLUTELY NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ANY OF THE CAMPS
Registration is in advance only -- by mail or in person at the Somers Senior Center. If you bring a child to camp unregistered, you will be directed to register at the Human Services/Recreation Office located at the Senior Center (if space is available). Campers will not be admitted to any camp without confirmed pre-registration. If an unregistered child is 'Dropped Off' at a camp, the police will be contacted to pick-up the child at that time. This is done for the protection of the child. We appreciate your cooperation with our new system.

You may also leave your registration and check in the Recreation "Drop Box" located at the Kibbe Fuller Community Center.

Summer Day Camp
Seven (7) consecutive weeks beginning July 5th running through August 19th
Held at Field Road Park Recreation Facility
Check-In: 8:30 am Pick-Up: 2:30 pm After-Care Until 4:30 pm
Somers residents: $100.00/camper -- $75.00 for each additional sibling
Out of Town: $100.00/camper + $25.00 out of town fee --$75.00 for each additional sibling + $25.00
*Field Trip Fees are Included in Camp Tuition*
After Care is $35.00/week payable in advance only by check or cash
Small Fry Camp
Six (6) consecutive weeks
July 5th through August 12th
Held at Somers Elementary School Gymnasium
9:00 am - 12 noon
Somers residents: $75.00/camper + $60.00 each additional sibling
Out of town: $90.00/camper
Week #1 is a 4-day week: $60.00 all Somers residents and $75.00 for out of town
No sibling discounts during Week #1
