*When a holiday falls on Monday, the facility will be open the following Tuesday
Closed Thanksgiving, with no hours the Friday after Thanksgiving, re-opening for regular hours Saturday after Thanksgiving.
The Town of Somers joined the recycling evolution through Single Stream Recycling. The program went into effect on March 01, 2012. Single Stream Recycling Program Informational Sheet
The Somers Transfer Station and Recycling Center is responsible for the handling
and disposal of solid wastes generated by Somers' residents and businesses.
