2. Accept the Resignation of Andrea Vitrano, Town Sanitarian effective July 2, 2025. Todd Rolland.

 

3. Authorize the First Selectman to execute all documents for the engineering of phase one of the sidewalk projects in the amount of $189,000. This funding is budgeted under Public Works Engineering. Todd Rolland

 

4. Request to allow Brian and April Juliano of Juliano Pools and Spas to resurface the Splash Pad at Field Road Park. Todd Rolland

 

5. Capital Equipment/Project Request for the Somersville Grammer School Building the Proposed Acquisition Cost in the amount of $365,000.00. Todd Rolland

 

6. Capital Equipment/Project Request for parking lots at Field Road Park, Somers Elementary School, and Somers High School in the amount of $726,307.02. Todd Rolland

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Appointment of the HVAC Building Committee. Proposed Committee members:

8. Salary adjustment request for Trish Thomas, Assessment and Tax Assistant. Request to increase her hourly rate from $24.82 to $28.00 effective July 1, 2025. Brian Wissinger.

 

9. Fire Department Staffing Request – Request to move Kyle Botteron from part time to a full time Firefighter/EMT position effective July 1, 2025.

 

10. Authorize the First Selectmen to execute the renewal of the Resident Trooper Contract for the period of July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027, between the Town of Somers and Department of Emergency Services & Public Protection.

 

• Approval of Minutes of May 15, 2025, Regular Meeting of the Board of Selectmen.

The Board of Selectmen waives the reading of the minutes of the Regular

Meeting from May 15, 2025, and that minutes of said meeting be approved.
