a. DOT RSA Update,
i. On 03/15, members met via Teams with representatives of the Department of Transportation and FHI, their vendor performing Road Safety Audits. We reviewed tomorrow’s Road Safety Audit of Rt. 83 from Field Road to DG Graphics.
ii. On 03/06, we met in Geissler’s parking lot at 10:00 AM and walked the route.
iii. FHI Studio is preparing an RSA for our review. They plan to have it back to us around May.
b. LOTCIP grant request Update.
i. With much help from Sotoria Montanari & Rob Aloise of CRCOG and their on-call engineering consultant Jason Ouimet, we submitted a request in the amount of $1,045,200.00 for sidewalk improvements.
4. Approval of November 21st, 2023, Meeting Minutes
The Town of Somers Board of Finance will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 7:00pm at the Somers Town Hall Auditorium. The 2024-25 Proposed Annual Budget will be considered at the time. Interested individuals are requested to attend.
