The Recreation Commission works in conjunction with numerous parent-run organizations to develop, promote, and oversee the town’s recreational facilities and programs.

The Somers Recreation Commission meets on the first non-holiday Monday of each month beginning at 7:00-pm.  Meetings are held in the Town Hall Auditorium.  If you have any ideas, concerns, or suggestions pertaining to the department and its programs, you are encouraged to attend a meeting or contact the Recreation Department by calling 860.265.3840, or by email at Recreation@somersct.gov
