The Town of Somers recorded 4,268 voters in the November 3, 2026, Gubernatorial, State and General Election, representing an overall voter turnout of 65.95% among 6,472 eligible registered voters. Participation included 2,129 Election Day voters, 1,969 Early Voting voters, 140 absentee voters, and 30 Same Day Registration voters. 

In Somers, the Fazio/Corey ticket received 2,449 votes across the Republican and Independent lines, compared with 1,778 votes for the Lamont/Bysiewicz ticket across the Democratic and Working Families lines. In the congressional contest, George Patrick Austin received 2,132 combined votes, while Joe Courtney received 2,068 votes. John A. Kissel received 2,259 combined votes for State Senator, and Kurt Vail received 2,484 votes for State Representative.
