  1. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS
    1. Superintendent Update
    2. SES STEM/Robotics Club
    3. Lynn Erickson, SES K-5 STEM Instructional Leader, will update the Board on the STEM/Robotics After School Club at SESSES FundraiserMelissa Mucci, SES Principal and Ellie Reissig, a 3rd-grade student, will update the Board regarding her fundraiser providing students and staff with Solar Eclipse Glasses for the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.
    4. Student Engineering Project  SHS student, Hunter Gaskell, will present to the Board a final model of a home with a virtual tour to highlight SHS’ architecture and independent student project program.
    5. SHS Student Representatives  SHS students, Yanni Karaja, Nico Skalski, and Natalie Hoague, will update the Board on recent SHS events.
    6. CAS Award for Middle-Level School of the Year  Ms. Tiffany Caouette, Assistant Executive Director of CAS, will present the award for Middle­ Level School of the Year to Mrs. Margot Ma1tello, MBA Principal, and Dr. Hannah Dill, MBA Assistant Principal.
    1. Monthly Budget Report Stephanie Levin, Director of Business Services, will update the Board on the monthly budget.

  • David Brown, SHS Principal, will resign with his last day on June 30,
  • Olivia Kelly, SES Nurse, will resign with her last day on June 12,
  1. Leave of Absence

Megan Schneider, Kindergarten Teacher, will be taking a leave of absence from August 26, 2024 through November 15, 2024.

The Board to discuss recognizing the 20th Anniversary of the Somers Education Foundation.

The Board to approve the Graduation date for Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The last day of school for grades 6-12 is Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The last day of school for grades PreK-5 is Wednesday, June 12, 2024.
