#ZBA22-005 Austin Bessette, 124 South Road, Somers; seeking a variance from section 214-6.3A of the Somers Code concerning Horses and Ponies, structure setback requirement of 100’ (one hundred feet) from all property lines for buildings housing horses, to install a 12’x20’ horse barn 65’ (sixty-five feet) from the northern and southern side property lines in the A-1 Residential Zone.

B. Discussion of purchase of one “Dog Waste Station” through DPW to try and remediate the messes left by dogs brought to Center Cemetery by owners even though it is against the rules. Cost per: $257.77.
C. Consider hiring gravestone restorer to continue work last planned about 4 years ago.
D. List considerations for July 13th meeting.

Zoning referral: application #22-001 Sarah Papale, 72 Billings Road, Somers; seeking a Special Use permit to operate a commercial dog kennel for the boarding of up to 4 dogs, per section 214-3.3C (4) (a) of the Somers Zoning Regulations, in the A-1 Residential Zone.
