Connecticut Spelling Bee on March 5, 2023. Nathan will participate in the Scripps National

Spelling Bee May 31-June 2, 2023 in National Harbor, Maryland. The finals will be broadcast on

ION on June 1, 2023.

The Board to recognize Nicolas Colli, a 5th-grade student, who placed 4th in the Connecticut

Spelling Bee on March 5, 2023.

Kate Bahler, SHS Guidance Counselor, is resigning effective June 30, 2023.

The following staff will be resigning at the end of the 2022-2023 school year:

  • Donna Duhrels, SES ParaEducator, has been with SPS for 24 years.
  • Lynn Tracy, SHS Food Services Teacher, has been with SPS for 16 years.
