Somersville Mill Demolition & Restoration Project Update:
Posted on: September 12th, 2017 by jroy

September 5, 2017 The remediation is now underway. A high fence has been constructed around the property and the noise and the demolition and site activity is contained within the property.  A large sign indicating DECD funding will be posted this week on site.  A job trailer has been ordered and will be placed on the site shortly.

Several truckloads of debris are leaving the site each day and this level of activity is expected to continue for the next 3 to 4 weeks.  The truck arrivals and departures are staggered so as not to be too loud or disruptive to neighboring residences and businesses.   Thank you for your ongoing cooperation and support of this important project for the Town of Somers.
