The Somers Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Wednesday July 3, 2024, at 4:45pm in the Town Hall Auditorium, 600 Main Street, Somers CT to receive public comment on the following:
Revision of Vendors Hawkers Ordinance in section 196-2 adding the following language “Food vendors, including food trucks, serving or selling food from private property where the property has a permit from the Somers Zoning Commission allowing such service or sales are also exempt from the terms of this Ordinance.”
Said proposed ordinance is on file in the Town Clerks office of the Town of Somers, Town Hall. At this hearing interested persons may be heard and written communications received.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATION OF $2,000,000 FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS and THE FINANCING OF SAID APPROPRIATION BY THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS AND NOTES IN ANTICIPATION OF SUCH BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,000,000, AS WELL AS ESTABLISHING A DATE FOR A REFERENDUM.
