We will be limiting access to Town Hall except by appointment for those essential services that require face to face contact.  A lot of Town business can be done from a distance; we have drop boxes in front of Town Hall, as well as mail-in and on-line options. If business can be handled without an in-person visit to Town Hall buildings, we recommend that these alternative be utilized. We recognize that people need to plan ahead but safety is our primary concern.  for Staff Directory click here Staffing Directory   COVID-19 Numbers as of 1/7/2021 as it relates to the Town of Somers: Total number of residential cases 335, number of new cases 40. Out of an abundance of caution, the leadership of the Somers Fire Department and Association has made the tough decision to cancel the Bingo night scheduled for Friday 03/13/2020.  Following the recommendation of Governor Lamont, we will not host an event that will gather over 100 people.  Bingo typically attracts more than 200 participants.  This decision was not easy.  However, given the facts of COVID-19 spreading throughout the country and the safety of our community being on the forefront of our minds, it seemed cancelling the event is the right decision for all involved.  Please follow us here and on our Somers Fire Department Facebook page for more information and as the situation evolves, a potential new date.  As always, thank you for your support.
